    Big Al - Marvel at the bones of a 15,000 year old Columbian mammoth being preserved and prepared.

    Trails History - Told by the GREAT PLATTE RIVER ROAD EXHIBIT depicting the Oregon Trail, Mormon Trail and Pony Express. Learn about the Plum Creek Massacre, Chief Turkey Leg and other early pioneer events. The Wheels of Progress exhibit tells of the Union Pacific Railroad, Telegraph and the Lincoln Highway/US Hwy 30.

    Exhibit Halls - Galleries displaying and interpreting period rooms of daily life, a general store, military artifacts, early businesses, railroad and restored automobiles, The McCabe Aeroplane or "Baby Biplane" showcases its unique elliptical wing design. The Story of the Olives is retold based on the book "The Ladder of Rivers."

    Art Gallery - Local, regional artists & traveling shows.

    Archives & Library - Historical and county resources, family histories, photographs and other materials.

    Plum Thicket Gift Shop - Books on local interest and history and crafts. Published by the Museum are Captive of the Cheyenne, Battle of the Bridges, Plum Creek to Lexington, Ladder of Rivers and Eddyville - Our Town.

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday, Closed Sundays and the holidays of New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas
